EBC DOT 4 Glycol Brake and Clutch Fluid
For use in most modern motorcycles and scooters.
Glycol fluids are 'Hygroscopic' i.e. they attract and absorb water; this means that over the time the fluid in your motorcycle / scooter brake or clutch system will degrade by the absorption of water. It is not uncommon to find glycol fluids containing up to 13% or 14% water, which of course corrodes internal steel parts in your brake system and will promote early brake fade under heavy brake use. For this reason regular replacement of your motorcycle or scooter brake fluid is essential. It also means that glycol fluids should only be used from a sealed container, which once opened starts, the degradation process immediately.
